Six Tough Questions for the Church

Let me urgently recommend an excellent book to you and to your 'link brothers'. The Present Future, by Reggie McNeal , Josey-Bass, 2003

This is one of the better books on 'where is the church headed' and 'better ways to do things' that I have read any time recently. It has rocked many a world - including mine.

Among the many valuable insights developed in this books is that the Kingdom mission is not 'church growth' per se. Rather the Kingdom mission is 'community transformation'

Of course there is much more in this easy to read, fast moving and disarmingly honest book written by someone who knows what he is talking about and has earned the right to speak.

Am making it required reading for all of my mentoring groups.
